Each Moth Mainstage features simply, old-fashioned storytelling, by five wildly divergent raconteurs who develop and shape their stories with The Moth’s directors.
The two performances at Memorial Hall will feature the same storytellers each night. Deonna Marie will be one of the featured storytellers for both nights.

I have the honor of playing the role of “Mom” in this production as well as being the Music Director in my second production with the Oklahoma Children’s Theatre. This will be performed at the OCT Children’s Center for the Arts, at Oklahoma City University.

The Toronto International Festival of Authors is proud to present The Moth Mainstage as a precursor celebration to kick off its annual 11-day festival (September 21 – October 1).

Deonna Marie is currently touring with NPR’s The Moth with one of the pieces from her one-woman show. She has performed in Massachusetts, Dallas, and New York on their main stage. The Deonna Marie Experience: From the Crack House to the Opera House will be held at Factory Obscura In Oklahoma City from August 10th - 27th. Factory Obscura provides a space for the community to experience and appreciate art by collaborating with local artists and celebrating art in all its forms. As a boy and his dog watch a television show about dragons, they unexpectedly get caught up in the “Dos and Don’ts” of what to feed them. But if they accidentally eat spicy salsa, watch out!
Deonna Marie makes her children’s theater debut with Oklahoma Children’s Theater for their production of Dragons Love Tacos based on the book by Adam Rubin from February 22nd through March 10th.
